New Year’s Eve calls for some champagne or cocktails. But what to serve to the kids or as a non-alcoholic version to your guests? Try this delicious mocktail made of apple juice, carbonated mineral water, pomegranate and fresh mint. A perfect non-alcoholic beverage that also kids will enjoy. Have a great New Year’s Eve!
I don’t want to give soft drinks for my two-year-old, because they are full of sugar or artificial sweeteners. That’s why I made a healthy and sugar-free beverage that is still sparkly and festive enough to enjoy on special occasions.
This kid-friendly mocktail is based on the classic apfelschorle, that is a German apple spritzer made of equal parts apple juice and carbonated mineral water. I added pomegranate and fresh mint for more flavour – simple and delicious!
All you need to do to prepare the mocktail, is to mix all ingredients together. Add as much pomegranate seeds as you like. I added quite a lot because I and my girl love pomegranate. You can also add some apple slices to the drink. My guess is that most kids will enjoy eating the fruits at the end, so serve this drink with a spoon.
