This healthy strawberry milkshake is the best drink on a warm summer day. It’s vegan, sugar free and easy to make.
Summer and strawberry season is here! Oh, how we love strawberries! Today, I want to share with you the recipe for an easy healthy strawberry milkshake. The great thing about this milkshake is, that you can use fresh or frozen strawberries to make it. That means, you can enjoy a glass of this guilt free treat any time of the year. Kids and adults will love it – I’m pretty sure about that!
This healthy strawberry milkshake only takes five minutes to prepare. The coconut milk and frozen banana give the milkshake a wonderful natural sweet taste and creamy consistency. If you don’t tell, no one would guess this milkshake to be actually healthy – you really don’t miss the sugar.
I always keep frozen bananas in the freezer. They are so great to add into smoothies, milkshakes and healthy ice cream. And it’s a great way to ensure you never have to throw away an overripe banana, just slice them and put in the freezer.
If you have been following our blog, you know how much we like to eat strawberries. If you are lucky and have delicious fresh strawberries available, these two recipes are my favourites that I really recommend to try.
